A very Merry Christmas to all my visitors, subscribers, followers, passers-by, etc who have made the relaunch of this blog such an exciting and worthwhile experience. I pray and trust that you have been as excited and inspired anytime you visited this blog this year, as I have been writing it. This blog has changed my life for good. You may be surprised to hear that.
I have come to the conclusion a long while ago that for you to make an impact, you have to walk the talk and practice what you preach. You cannot give what you do not have. I live my posts before I write them. To be able to write, I have to do it, and in the process of doing it, I have changed and will never be the same again. I hope it has been the same for you.
Financial freedom is not about money. It is much more than that. The journey changes you, positioning you to be able to do what you need to do to have what you desired in the first place. No, that is not totally correct. You will not only have what you desired, you will get much more. The reason is simple. What comes your way is not for you only. There are people you were born to assist, to show them the way, to make their dreams come true, to make the world a better place. The money sets you free to do that, starting from where you are right now. Reach outside your comfort zone and lend a helping hand to a hurting soul.
Christmas is a very emotional season for most of us. It brings back nostalgic memories. Sometimes the memories have a touch of sadness if you lost someone dear like I did in 2010. Our loved ones have played their part in the movie called Life, took a bow, and moved on. It is left for us to push on to the finish line, and finish strong.
Seasons come and go, but what you did with your life remains forever, if you make your life count. Nobody remembers how much money you made or how many houses, yachts, and private planes you had in your fleet. It is the lives you touched, the institutions you left behind, and the good you did that is your true claim to immortality.
You need freedom to be able to make a difference in this world. Financial freedom sets you free to go do what you really want to do with your life.
So in this season of goodwill, as we mark the birth of Jesus Christ, I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas from the bottom of my heart. Joy to the world and goodwill to all men, and your finances.
Feliz Navidad!
