Develop Your Talents: Wealth Zone

If you excel in what you love doing, whatever it is you are doing. No matter where you live on the planet, people will create a beaten path to your door. You will not need to look for publicity. Publicity will look for you.

Money will look for you. You will not have to pursue it anymore or pull stunts to make a buck or two. You will not need to ask people to pay for your services; they will beg to take their money.

You will not have to knock on doors anymore. Instead, you will need a secretary and assistants to screen your calls and keep off unwanted visitors.

Be the very best that you can be. You would have ushered yourself into the wealth zone.

Avoid Shortcuts Like the Plaque

Times are changing. Technology is making things happen instantaneously. Way back in the American wild west, if you missed the Wells Fargo couch, you calmly went back home, knowing full well the next wagon will pass your way same time next week. Now, your heart skips a bit if you miss a portion of a revolving door!

Times may change, but some principles never change from generation to generation: hard work, starting small, and getting bigger one step at a time.

If you have surfed the internet for a while, you would have been bombarded with offers promising to take away hard work and propel you from ground zero to the pinnacle in weeks or months. Quite tempting, that: If it is too good to be true, it is. Why do people fall victim to scams? Very simple: their greed has clouded their reasoning faculties. Their greed has shut down their brains.

What has this got to do with talents? You cannot become a master overnight. There are no shortcuts to excellence. Shortcuts will cut you short and may abort your destiny. Slow and steady wins the race. Life is not a hundred meters dash…

You have to delay your gratification and attain excellence (alongside character and integrity) first. These other things will run after you…
