What If Dreams Come True?

A hanging question… Sometimes I allow my imagination to “run away”…

What if failure was non-existent, and I can do what I really want to do?

What if my employer gives me a “golden handshake” beyond my wildest imagination, and I am free to walk away into the sunset, what would I do?

What if I can go back in time and start college all over again, what would I do differently?

What if I am freed of all financial responsibilities, and I am free to do what I know I want to do?

What if money ceases to be a legal tender, would I show up for work Monday morning?

What if dreams come true? An interesting proposition…

Are you doing what you really want to be doing? Are you enjoying what you are doing? Are your God given talents given full expression where you are right now, or you are primarily concerned with putting food on the table?

How did you arrive at the course you read in college? Was it a family consensus based on the prevalent labour market, or you knew right from the start that this was what you were born to do or be?

Who are you?

Where are you headed?

From the direction you are heading, in your final moments on this planet, can you look back fulfilled, having offloaded all you came with, or head back home loaded, mission unaccomplished…?



Until you discover who you are, you will be defined by situations and circumstances around you. You will board any bandwagon that happens to pass your way…

I hope this provokes you to embark on a journey of self-discovery. Until this is sorted, your journey to freedom will be an aimless wandering in the wilderness, without a clue which harbor to lower your anchor…
